The meeting was called to order by club president, Jim Sawin. Committee reports were given. Rick Fisher advised there will be a meeting of the Golf Committee next Wednesday, May 23 at 7:30 am at the Lake Anna YMCA. The clock is ticking on confirming the foursomes so we can give a count to Joe at BBCC. Critch reported on the current raffle ticket selling leaders- about half of our club falls in the Hero category.
T Wallace handed out to the club members in attendance their giving report to the Rotary International Fdn Annual Fund. As a club we need to average $35 per member annually in order to qualify to apply for a District Grant. At present our club average is $15.44. Our quarterly dues are set up so that by the end of each Rotary year each member has made the $35 donation. However, we have some members not current with their dues. Donations may also be made on the Rotary International Web site. (You can find the link to the RI Foundation on our club home page). Then log in to the RI site and head to member section and make a donation.
