This week at the Barberton Rotary Club

Our first meeting of September, being held on the first day of September! There are several volunteer opportunities to serve the club in the month of September:

Sept 17 is a tour and food packing at the Akron Regional Food Bank. We will be teaming up with the Kiwanis club members at this fun event. If you missed the email or club sign up-we have to date 3 people officially signed up. Below are the instructions: Our group is scheduled to tour and volunteer at the Foodbank on: Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 8:00-11:30am. Please sign-up to participate: Log in to the Volunteer Information Center and navigate to our group’s scheduled day on the calendar. You will sign up for Volunteer Group: Barberton Rotary *If you have not volunteered here before, you will first need to complete a Volunteer Application. The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is located at the corner of Dart Ave and Opportunity Pkwy off of OH-59 near Downtown Akron. Their address is 350 Opportunity Pkwy, Akron, OH 44307. When you arrive, please park in the gated, Shipping & Receiving lot and use the RED Volunteer Entrance to enter the building.
MumFest Sept 24,25. You can help at the Tons of Taters booth or help at the Barbertonopoly booth. Help is needed for the weekend at the 4-6 pm time slots.

Also, you can get Reverse Raffle & Silent Auction Tickets at the weekly meeting, however if you are unable to attend please contact Ruth Kaser for tickets. This years event tickets are $110 a couple and the price includes 2 drink tickets. The event will again be held at Guy's and the date is October 20.
