Julie West shared some interesting information regarding Arch Klumph at our meeting last week. In addition to his business success he was a flute player. He played in the Cleveland Symphony, a precursor to the present Cleveland Orchestra. He proposed the creation of the Rotary Foundation in 1917, hence the celebration this fall due to Rotary's year. 
 
Our speaker for this weeks meeting will be John Shulan. John is the president and founder of the Summit County Astronomy Club, and if it is sunny, we’ll go outside and look at the sun thru a solar telescope.
 
The golf outing raffle tickets will be available at this weeks meeting. If you can, please stay after the meeting this Thursday, the 7th to stuff the Golf Outing sign up forms into envelopes. We will have the forms, envelopes and address labels.
 
Denny Liddle advised we are ready to begin soliciting advertisers for Barbertonopoly. Barbertonopoly sales team: if you can, could you please plan to stay after the meeting on the Thursday the 14th for a “brief” meeting. We have all the documentation you will need and wanted to discuss some potential targets to get us moving.
