Countdown to the Reverse Raffle and Silent Auction on October 29th at Guy's Party Center. Jim Sawin shared that as of this past weekend he had a total of 2 baskets for the Silent Auction. Now is the time to drop off your basket or basket contents. There will be a basket making party -date to be announced. The purpose of the party will be to gather the various individual donations to make a basket of at least $50 value, and to assemble into a basket items that were donated by person or persons who do not feel they are basket skilled. So whether you have one gift certificate , a box full of items, or you have a basket prepared for the auction, please drop it off to Jim at the Lake Anna YMCA.
Tickets, most if not all of the tickets have been distributed. A separate email will be sent with an alphabetical listing of last years attendees. The volunteer sign up will be passed around at the meeting.
We will be having a meeting to plan the Reverse Raffle after our regular meeting to confirm the menu, advise seating, volunteers and ticket sales.
Our speaker will be Steve Farnsworth, Interim Director for the Four Cities Compact will join us to talk about the programs they are offering and what they have planned for the future.
