The meeting was called to order by club president, Jim Sawin. It is our last meeting of the 2017 calendar year. Happy Birthday wishes were given to Barb and Critch. Jim presented Dennis O'Connell with a check for $5000. The $5000 is the fourth and final payment of our $20,000 pledge for the Magical Theatre renovation project. Our club has not only made a monetary donation towards the renovation we assisted as volunteer members helping to clear out sections of the theater prior to the renovation.
Our speaker was Father Bill Browne with Saint Augustine Church. Father Browne shared his faith background and tied it in with his message of the importance of works-serving God.
