The meeting was called to order by club president, Chris Stoll. Guests were recognized and included city officials Mayor Bill Judge and Joe Stefan. Jim Sawin announced the RR ticket champion to date= Rev. Vic Myers with 5 tickets followed by Dave Stephens.  The 50/50 was played with the pot of $185 not won. Also the Joker was the card drawn so a new deck will be broken out at next weeks meeting. Bid announced that a speaker is still needed for our Sept 20 meeting. Jim reminded board members of our upcoming meeting on Tuesday, the 11th.
 
Mayor Judge talked about the Barberton Mobile Community Access & Response Center. The used RV was purchased with HUD funds with a final cost of around 40K. Its purpose is to remove barriers to provide services to the residents of Barberton. It has been used for mobile health fairs, for screenings, a mobile office for distribution of health and healthy living items. Mayor Judge talked about using it as a mobile dental center, information distribution, FEMA temporary office following a natural disaster. The RV is outfitted with WI Fi making it useful as a mobile office. It has walls that can be utilized for privacy for health screenings. It also has a working kitchen for healthy eating demo's.  Joe Stefan did the RV tour. The photo is of the interior.
