Club meeting of September 18

The meeting was called to order by club president, Nick Wladyczak. Treasurer Vic Myers announced there were only 42 days until our Reverse Raffle & Silent Auction. Our Barberton Rotary Foundation has committed $20,000 towards the Magical Theatres capital campaign. This pledge coupled with other committed projects to East and West Elementary Schools of Play Attention add to the importance of a successful event.

The sign up for the Tons of Taters Fundraiser during Mumfest was passed around. We still have a few volunteer slots open for someone to join in on the fun the weekend of September 27-28th.

Nick reminded the club we will have a meeting on September 25.

Our speaker was Donae Ceja the VP of Community Impact for United Way. Donae shared the focus of United Way. Untied Way focuses on the building blocks for a good life: education, income and health.
