Don won the coin toss and ran the meeting welcoming our newest member Todd Sabol. Our guests included our speaker Dr. Mike Hughes from Summa and Doug from the Akron club. Vic attended a TowPath signage meeting yesterday with Rick Fisher and Amber from BCF. By May 2020 is the goal to have 3-4 interpretative signs erected on the Towpath Trail in the Barberton section. Don gave an update on the Limitless Playground to be erected at McCafferty Park. Ground breaking will be in the spring.
October 3 we will be at Barberton High School to meet the new Boys Basketball Coach -time 730 am with breakfast.
Our speaker was Dr. Mike Hughes from Summa Barberton Hospital. Dr. Hughes shared news of some of the new units at Summa- the HICU -High Intensity Cardiac Unit. He also spoke of the good fit with their new partner Beaumont Hospital.
