Club Meeting of September 10

The meeting was called to order by club president, Tom Craig. Guests were recognized and included our speaker, Justin Chesnic. Mr. Chesnic is the Public Information Office with District 4 of ODOT. 

 

Tom shared that our club will have a 4 Way Test banner thanks to the sponsorship of Bob Critchfield.

 

Tom also reminded club members there will be no meeting on September 17th as we will be sharing Rotary at one of two area events: the Magical Theatre Fund Raising event and the Community Pregnancy Center Open House.

 

Club members were encouraged to volunteer for Mum Fest.

 

Our speaker Justin Chesnic shared news of upcoming ODOT road projects including  31st St, Wooster Road, and Route 18. Justin said that the long range forecast is calling for a milder winter and recommended monitoring the ODOT website for construction warnings.
