Club meeting of November 20

The meeting was called to order by club president, Nick Wladyczak. Guests were recognized, and Happy Dollars were collected. Nick reminded the club members we will not be meeting next week as it is Thanksgiving. Our next meeting will be on December 4 and we will be inducting new members and having a new member orientation to Rotary.

Bob Critchfield passed around the sign up for bell ringing for the Salvation Army. Our club will be ringing the bell this year at the Barberton Giant Eagle on Saturday, December 6 from 9am-5pm.

Our club received recognition for having 100% of our members donate to the Rotary Foundation this past Rotary year. Rotary Foundation Chairperson Brenda Farrell was congratulated for her efforts. Club president Nick, Rev Ralph Young and Brenda Farrell share in our clubs celebration with our congratulation banner in our photo.

Our speaker was Rev. Ralph Young. Rev. Young shared he has been a Rotarian for 51 years. His topic was "Random but not totally disconnected ideas" He talked about this past week-his thought process preparing to speak at our club. He also spoke of giving thanks, and where he did and did not see God.
