The meeting was called to order by club president, Denny Liddle. Sign up sheets were passed around for upcoming club events. In addition Denny passed around Golf Outing, Reverse Raffle & Silent Auction, and Barbertonopoly committee sign up sheets. We have some fun volunteer opportunities in our events and ask each club member to sign up for one of the committees. The committees will be responsible for the main planning of the events and their continued success.

Our speaker was Ann Otto. Ann is the author of " Yours in a Hurry", a historical novel. Ann has the following information regarding her novel:Life changes for the Hartle siblings when their prosperous parents die suddenly in 1901. Now it's 1908 and the three oldest—Anna, Addison and Purl—have come of age and use their generous inheritance to leave their small Ohio village. Experience historical events and with characters from Hollywood to Europe and the Pacific Rim, including famous film stars, aviators, and American heroes. The siblings sometimes visit Ohio, but not for long. As Addison often expresses at the end of his letters, they are "Yours in a hurry."
