Club Meeting of May 7

The meeting was called to order by club president, Nick Wladyczak. Nick reminded the club members of the monthly board meeting to be held, on Tuesday, May 12, at 7:30 am at Kave Coffee Bar. The fliers and entry forms for our upcoming 12th Annual Royal H. Wood Memorial Golf Outing on June 5th are available at the sign in area and also on the club website. The club members are urged to seek out golfers, sponsors and prizes for our event. This event is one of two that our Rotary Foundation depends on for our scholarships and our pledge to the Magical Theatres Capital Campaign. The raffle tickets for the golf outing will be available next week.

Club V.President of Vocational Service and Principal of Barberton Elementary School East, Kim Buehler introduced our academic scholarship recipients: Emily Dunkler from Barberton High School and Morgan Schaber from Manchester High School. Our scholarship recipient from Norton High School, is  Alison Rohner .

Our speaker was John Thielenhaus. John Thielenhaus is an author of a daily devotional book, Moments with the Master.
