The meeting was called to order by PE Chris Stoll. Reports were given. Rick Fisher passed around the volunteer list for helping at the golf outing on Friday, June 8 at BBCC. He suggested the AM volunteers can arrive any time between 7-730 am. Help will be needed as well as Door Prizes all day. Critch thanked club members for raffle ticket sales and encouraged all to keep selling. Shelly read a thank you letter from the NHS recipient of our Academic Scholarship. Chis shared that there are open board positions for his Rotary presidency 2018/2019 and asked interested parties to talk with him.
Bruce May advised the club Foundation Board will meet briefly after the regular club meeting next week. In addition, we have 1 meeting after the meeting this morning before the golf outing. As a reminder, we will not meet on Thursday, June 7.
Our speakers were Kelsey and Maria, with the Rape Crisis Center of Medina & Summit Counties. The RCC has several offices and is always looking for volunteers to train. Their services are client centered and free. Their website is www.rccmsc.org
