Club meeting of May 11

The Academic Scholarship award breakfast was the feature of this mornings meeting. Attending the breakfast was Taylor Odom and her mom (NHS), Jenna White and her parents (MHS). Also Michael Holtzapple and his dad joined us. Michael has been awarded the Gavin Westover Technical Scholarship. Not present this morning was Dorothy Askew (BHS).

Denny passed around the club year end banquet that will introduce Jim Sawin as our club president for 2017/2018 and Chris Stoll as our P.E. Vic shared he will accept the $30 per person cost of the banquet as of this meeting.

Carl gave updates on the Golf Outing- there are still openings available for 4 somes. We have moved our golf outing to Barberton Brookside Country Club this year and it will be on Friday, June 2. Raffle tickets are still available and door prizes for the golfers will be needed.
