Club Meeting of March 31

The meeting was called to order by club president Tom Craig. Guests were recognized and included our speaker, past District 6630 Governor and current V. Governor Julie West. Tom shared that the District 6630 Grant for the Play Attention systems has been received. Our club will be donating 2 devices and computers to Barberton Elementary East.
Denny Liddle announced there will be a meeting of the Barbertonopoly sales team after next weeks meeting. The sales packets will be handed out to team members. He also shared the golf outing sign-up sheets will be mailed out shortly for our June 3rd event.
Our speaker Julie West talked about Arch Klumph and the 100 th Anniversary Celebration of the Rotary Foundation to be held Sunday, October 23rd in Cleveland. Events will include a dinner and a concert by the Cleveland Orchestra. Julie shared information about Arch Klumph, his role in establishing the Rotary Foundation and with the Cleveland Orchestra. She also reminded the club members of the upcoming District Conference April 22-24 in Mayfield Ohio.
