The meeting was called to order by club president, Denny Liddle. Denny shared news of some upcoming community events-the Magical Theatre Trivia Night, and the BCF 1st Annual Cornhole Tournament. Tom Craig brought up the possibility of a memorial/recognition  by our club for Christine Sandmann. Christine in addition to being an active support of the Scouts helped to organize the pack we sponsor. Rick Fisher suggested the possibility of the Service Above Self Award to a community member. This could be discussed at the next meeting of the Rotary Bd. 
Julianne Bedel shared a need of the library-the Tween Book Club to consider a donation of $500 by our club towards the program for 10-13 year old to go towards extras for the program.
Carl Bako announced there will be a meeting of the Golf Committee on Monday, Mar. 6 at 8 am at the Y.
Selena shared some of the events she is working on for the club for the rest of the year. One of them is Newsy at Porthouse Theatre. 
 
Our speaker was Dave Johnson, the Director of Public Relations & Communication for the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland & the Global Center for Health Innovation. Dave shared some of the recent exciting events in Cleveland such as the RNC and the re do of Public Square. A place to go to see what is happening in Cleveland is Destination Cleveland
