Ruth won the coin toss to run the meeting. There was alot of meeting happiness as Jim Sawin was in attendance at the meeting and did the invocation. No one won the 50/50 pot, 16 cards remain in the deck and $485 was the prize to be won.
Our guest was Justin Chesnik from ODOT4. Todd Sabol was thanked as our March greater. Vic brought the golf outing entry and sponsorship forms as well as envelopes and stamps. The club started the meeting labeling, stuffing envelopes. Raffle tickets should be in next week. Critch created a flyer of encouragement to club members to sell raffle tickets! There will be a sign up next week for sponsorship and prize committees.
Next week will be scholarship selection, help will be needed to choose recipients -this will be our meeting. March 26 speaker will be Jim Lechko.
Bd meeting highlights:
- Sensory area was installed at Barberton PreSchool- check out the photo album on this websites home page, in the bottom right corner
- The board agreed to send a $1000 donation to ShelterBox to aid in the Syrian crisis. The check was mailed out by end of meeting day
- All Ohio PETS has been cancelled due to COVID 19 virus concerns
- Look for the next McCafferty Park clean up to be the weekend of the city wide clean up- towards the end of April
Our speaker was Justin Chesnik. Justin gave updates of current as well as road projects on the horizon in our area. He also passed out some paper Ohio maps.
