The meeting was called to order by club president Jim Sawin. Jim acknowledged this meeting was his last as club president for 2017/2018 Rotary year. He thanked the club for their support. Guests were recognized and included our speaker, John Palmer with the Akron Rotary Club, and the daughter and grandson of Rick Fisher. 
 
Jim shared handouts and recognized the sponsors of our golf outing. Critch thanked club members for selling raffle tickets, and shared that 90% of our club members sold 15 or more tickets. 
 
Bruce shared that the Tons of Taters booth has been booked and the postcards for the annual MumFest are out. 
 
50/50 was taken- there is $135 in the pot.-no one one.
 
Our speaker Terry Lawrence is the Director of Inter Ministerial Relations with Christian Healthcare Ministries. Terry shared Christian Healthcare Ministries is defined by ACA as a Health Care Alternative. It was founded in 1981. They occupy 2 properties in Barberton, on on Hazelwood and the other on Wooster Road. He shared they are the original health cost sharing ministry and are based on verses in the Bible in Acts and Galations. They operate in all 50 states. 
 
Jim reminded the club we will not be meeting at Thano's for 2 weeks. Next week is an evening meeting and the following week is July 5.
