Don won the coin toss to run the meeting. No one won the big 50/50 pot which is now approaching $450. Guests were recognized and included our speaker Leslie O'Neal. The Rotary minute was congrats to Rotary for winning the Tournament Volunteer Trophy. The most outstanding display of floral presentation of the Rose Parade Theme. Rotary's float theme was "The Power of Hope" . Pictures of the float can be found on our club Facebook page as shared from the District 6630 Facebook page.
Upcoming events include:
- Ruth and Don to head out to the NautiVine for a future club event with the Green Rotary club
- Birdie Bag packing at the Lake Anna YMCA this coming Monday, Jan 13. 9 am will be truck unload and 10 am bag stuffing
- The monthly board meeting at the Lake Anna Y at 7:30 AM.

Leslie works with individuals, companies and associations to attract meetings, conferences and conventions to greater Akron through the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau.
