Club meeting of January 5

The first meeting of 2017 was called to order by club president, Denny Liddle. Denny reported brisk sales of Barbertonopoly over the holidays-$1500 in games were sold. Our speakers list has openings available as of February, members are urged to talk to friends, think of speakers to invite.

 

Our speaker was Zachary Hoffman a Public Information Officer with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. Zachary discussed the importance of price comparison for gas and electric providers. He discussed the services offered by the PUCO and handed out information fliers for the PUCO Call Center, Apples to Apples (Energy Choice), and Energy and Water Conservation Tips.
