Club Meeting of January 29

The meeting was called to order by past president, Todd Wallace. . Laura Thomas with Spencer Tax Service was welcomed as our guest, she was invited by Bruce and Jeremy. Happy Dollars were collected and birthdays recognized: Denny Liddle.

The club discussed the Scholarship Awards ceremony and if we would be able to have the ceremony at Summa Barberton Hospital again this year. Denny Liddle offered to speak with the hospital board members to see if it could be arranged.

Don Kaser shared the result of the meeting he attended with Tom Craig and the Fairlawn Rotary Club regarding possible future international projects involving both clubs.

Denny Liddle passed around a sign up sheet for the upcoming club membership and social event on February 20.

Todd read the list of speakers coming up and Carl shared that the meeting next week should be well attended by club members and was a good meeting to invite a prospective Rotarian.
