The meeting was called to order by club president, Tom Craig. Guests were recognized and included Joe and George from the Akron Rotary Club and our speaker, Mark Bowles. Joe and George invited our club to participate in the upcoming Chili Open, to be held Saturday, February 6 at Hale Farm 7 Village. It is the 26th year of the event that benefits Akron Rotary Camp for Children with Special Needs.
Club member Denny Liddle shared news of the recent committee meeting for the Barbertonopoly board game. He discussed the profit points depending on the number of games sold. Our next step is forming a sales committee to sell ads. The club will place the order for the games by July so we can begin selling them in September.
