Ruth won the coin toss to run the meeting. Highlights of the monthly board meeting were shared. Planned social events were updated, the golf outing was discussed as well as the interpretative signage on the TowPath Trail. The club will be the speaker at next week's meeting as we will discuss the signage to be erected in the Barberton section of the TowPath. Ruth shared that dues for the first quarter of 2020 will be sent out next week. The Rotary minute was ESRAG.org. ESRAG stands for Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group. ESRAG is an International Coalition of young people, Rotarians, and members of the Rotary family taking action to solve climate crisis and make a difference for our planet and our future. Rotary has identified 6 areas of focus that reflect critical humanitarian issue and needs that Rotarians are addressing world wide:
  • promoting peace
  • clean water
  • fighting disease,
  • saving mothers and children
  • supporting education
  • growing local economies.
