The meeting was called to order by club president, Nick Wladyczak. Nick shared that the date of our bell ringing event at the Barberton Giant Eagle was being changed to Friday December 12. Bob Critchfield will be passing around the sign up sheet for the event. We will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army from 9am-5pm.
Nick advised that our monthly board meetings will move to Kave Coffe Bar on West Tuscarawas starting December. 
We will be adopting 2 families for Christmas. Nick will be sharing the gift details with the club. Members are asked to bring items for the 2 families to the December 18th meeting. The club has also donated towards an adaptive bike for a little girl.
We celebrated 2 birthdays and Happy Dollars were collected. New member Patricia Zarle was inducted in the club. Past President Todd Wallace shared some Rotary information for our new club members and a refresher for our existing members. 
Rotary is the oldest and the largest of the service clubs. It was founded in 1905 by Paul Harris in Chicago. They called it Rotary as the weekly meeting location place was rotated between the members offices. Rotary's Polio Plus program started in 1988 has seen and celebrated the cases of polio in the world plummet from 350,000 to less than 250. Polio remains active in 3 countries in the world. Rotary causes: promoting peace, fighting diseases, clean water, saving moms & kids, supporting education, and growing local economics.
