Club Meeting of August 27 with District Governor Mike Davanzo

Club president, Nick called the meeting to order. Our guests included Rotary District 6630 Governor Mike Davanzo and his wife Judy. The upcoming Mum Festival was discussed, some volunteer opportunities still remain for Saturday and Sunday. Rotarians Tom Craig and Dave Taylor will represent Rotary in the canoe race.

Reverse Raffle Chair passed out event tickets and flyers to the club members. The event sign up sheet was also circulated.

Our speaker was Rotary District 6630 Governor Mike Davanzo. Mike discussed some upcoming events in the district: RI End Polio Now Day at Bob Evans. Mike shared that Bob Evans will be making donation of 15% of sales to RI on October 23. There is a special event flyer to present at time of check out. 

Mike also shared some of the goals of Rotary's 2014-2015 president Gary Huang: grow membership, increase giving in EREY, promote Rotary!
