The meeting was called to order by club president, Chris Stoll. Guests were recognized and included Rich from the Port-Summit Club, PDG John Reyes, Tom Craig, and our current District 6630 Governor Beverly Ghent-Skrzynski and her husband David. Chris reminded club members the Corn Roast at the Labor Day Festival was next Saturday, Sept 1. The TOT sign up was passed around. Reverse Raffle Chair Jim Sawin has a stack of Reverse Raffle Tickets that will be distributed to the club members. We are asking each member to be responsible for 4 tickets and 2 baskets for the silent auction.
 
No one won the 50/50 pot which is now over $175. 
 
Our speaker was our District 6630 Governor, Beverly Ghent-Skrzynski. Beverly thanked Barb K. for her submission of the Barberton Rotary Club history and involvement in the community. Beverly said before coming to our meeting she also read our club website, the District Grant application for the micro finance bank. She talked about Rotary clubs reaching out to the young people who's lives we have touched in the speech contests, scholarships
