Don won the coin toss to conduct the meeting today. Guests were recognized- Lance from Remarkable Diner, and Bob's wife Carolyn. We also welcomed new member Steve Kindel. News from the Tuesday board meeting was shared:
- We will not meet at Thano's on Thursday, Sept 5. This will be our Service Thursday and we will meet at 7:30 am at McCafferty Park for light breakfast and clean up.
- The board recommended a donation by our foundation of $250 to the Labor Day Festival, also $250 to BACM. Bruce May called a vote of the foundation members present at the meeting and the donations were approved by the members in attendance.
- TOT sign up. Some open slots remain for volunteering, the event is September 28& 29th
- Reverse Raffle. Jim shared he will be calling and or visiting members who have not yet received their tickets. He asked each member to sell a total of 5 tickets (one to yourself and 4 more) and to contribute 2 baskets (either from yourself or someone else) to the Silent Auction.
