The meeting was called to order by club president, Chris Stoll. Guests were recognized and included our speakers Carl Wargo and Dan Reynolds, and Bob Reese. Chris recognized Denny Liddle and the background work done on the Corn Roast booth the club will have for the Labor Day Festival. Chris also advised help is still needed for the Tons of Taters booth on Saturday.
Jim reported on the Reverse Raffle. The date is October 25. Tickets have been printed and flier created. The first meeting of the committee will be next Wednesday, August 15. The Rotary Bd meeting will be Tuesday, August 14.
Dave Stephens shared that Tom DeBord will be in town next week and plans on attending our meeting. Tom is a former member of the club -but still active supporter of the club. Members are encouraged to come to the meeting next week to say hello.
