March Board Meeting 3-9-2021
The Board of Directors for the Barberton Rotary Club met Tuesday morning, March 9th. The most pressing point of business was the approval of the $5,000 necessary to fully fund our Scholarship Program for 2021 for students at the Barberton and Norton High Schools. The Club Board approved taking the Action for the full amount needed to the Foundation Board. (See outcome Below)
Other orders of Business:
Dustin Zuravel was nominated to replace Laura Thomas on the Foundation Board. Dustin accepted the nomination with pride and was unanimously approved.
It was also unanimously approved to once again support the YMCA with a $1,000 gift this year.
The Golf Outing planning is well underway and at this point, you may already have received a "SAVE THE DATE" CARD for the August event at Chippewa Golf course. We have a large and very active committee working on this Club Project and it is hoped that with the "Cabin Fever" among golfers, that this could be a larger than usual turnout.
