Barberton Pre School Sensory Area

The Barberton Pre School designated an area in the building therapy room to aid children with special sensory needs in order to more easily participate in a class room environment. The Rotary Club of Barberton provided the funding for the purchase of materials to support sensory needs in the preschool setting. Selected items were consulted through the school districts Occupational Therapist. Members from the Rotary Club of Barberton and school personnel got together on March 10 to set up the sensory corner. Items were assembled, organized and the corner was made more appealing for sensory needs in the school setting.
